Today was Made for You

My thought for you… TODAY IS FOR YOU!!! If someone were to give you a gift that wasn’t exactly what you wanted, what would you do? Would you whine and complain about it? Would you tell them it’s the wrong color, too hot, too cold, etc. I’m hoping your answer to that would be no.  Yet every day that’s about all some people we know do. They complain that it’s too hot, too cold, too rainy, too sunny, too early, or too late just to name a few.  Instead of complaining about that gift we got, we need to do our best to make the best of it. We’re alive to experience it, we can see or smell or feel the rain, we can speak to others and SO much more.  Every single day is for you. Every day is also for your neighbor and for your wife and your son your mother and even your dog! Never forget…   TODAY IS FOR YOU!    Take advantage of it.    Be grateful for it.   Every morning you wake up tell yourself “Today is for me!” out loud…and mean it! Then figure out a way to share it with all of those people that are included in your day.   Peace Gregg

Wanting to do it “ain’t” getting it done! DO IT!!!

This weekend is the March For Our Lives march all around the United States.

The time has come for the older generations (Older being anyone past high school…) to quit looking at what these kids are doing and saying things like “Good for them”,”Man, these kids, huh?” and Yep, it’s time to quit treating them like little kids your shepherding over in the backyard as they’re playing. It’s time to get off your butt and make a difference somehow!

One Simple Pledge in the Morning Will Change Your Life

Especially when things aren’t going well, especially when you are in pain whether it is physical, mental or spiritual, especially when it seems that no one is on your side or you feel alone, remember this…     Make a pledge to yourself in the morning that you will listen more than you will talk. You’ll be amazed at how smart you will be tonight     Allow yourself to really hear the world around you. Listen not only to the words but also the meanings behind them, the sounds of the world wherever you are, the whispers from your soul. Listen and understand them and before you speak to others, speak to yourself.     Make a pledge to yourself in the morning that you will listen more than you will talk. You’ll be amazed at how smart you will be tonight   Peace Gregg
