Ask for abundance!

As soon as I say that, most people’s minds immediately think we’re talking about an abundance of money. That’s great. I’m all for it! As a matter of fact, I hope when you ask for, pray for abundance or ask the Universe for abundance, you get it. However, it goes much deeper than this.

I know right off the bat, many of you are saying greed has no place by your side as you move forward in your life. And you’re right. Greed is a terrible negative monster that thrives by showing you a glimpse of something you might desire, then surrounds you by forcing you always to want more and more and more. Meanwhile, as you’re busy doing this, you completely lose track of the important things you already have, the people that matter and the opportunities for your future.

When I say, we should ask for abundance every day, I don’t just mean money. Take the opportunity to ask for abundance of love, kindness, hope, empathy, understanding, etc. Ask for your mind to be open. Ask for abundance for others around you, your family, friends, coworkers and even someone you see on the bus, on the street, behind a fast food counter, etc. There are so many good and positive things that make life better. And while you’re noticing them and asking for more of them, you’re making yourself better too.

Look, asking for abundance isn’t hard and it doesn’t take a long time. A simple, “I wish them well” or if you see someone struggling, “I hope they find the abundance they need to move forward in their life” are a couple of examples.

Figure out the things in your life you want or need more of. Be honest with your assessment and then get to work. Simply by recognizing these things, you will begin to subconsciously work towards them. By understand the things in your life you want/need more of, you will automatically be more receptive to what others are going through and what they might need. Take 5 minutes and write a list. Have a conversation with your spouse or partner or your kids and ask them what kinds of abundance they want. Trust me, this is a conversation you might not have considered having, that will make a huge positive impact on your life. When you become more aware of increasing your abundance of the positive things in your life, you are becoming a better you.

So, ask for abundance! Ask for abundance every single day, sometimes more than once a day!

Only this time, ask for the kind of abundance that will truly make your life better and the lives of others too. As I said earlier, I hope when you might pray for abundance or ask the Universe for abundance – you get it and it makes you a better person. When you become a better person, that makes the world a better place to be. After all, isn’t this what we want and deserve anyway?

Peace…
